RAINY DAY (Poem)
cool breeze caressed me,
water drops dripped down from the roof,
it silenced my favorite pony's hooves.
Roses were darker like the lovers lips,
sun lighter behind the velvet veil of clouds,
shed down to earth tiny bright arrows,
from a seven colored bow far from west.
Shrill cry of peacock echoed in the meadows,
where a hundred thousand gems glittered,
The mountains in their green jeweled vests,
stood ready to wed the humble lake.
Forget-me-nots sprouted along the lovers parks,
remnants of long lost love,
where a thousand couples shed their tears,
bidding each other a farewell for ever.
Water danced down majestically,
dodging many a trees and logs,
stroking the mushrooms and toadstools on the way,
according to the beats of donkeys bray.
Why, its all so lovely and startling,
too good to be real and true,
i feel iam at the top of the world,
too happy and cheerful, to my hearts full.
Why fool thou wonder so?
it is really the rainy day.
water drops dripped down from the roof,
it silenced my favorite pony's hooves.
Roses were darker like the lovers lips,
sun lighter behind the velvet veil of clouds,
shed down to earth tiny bright arrows,
from a seven colored bow far from west.
Shrill cry of peacock echoed in the meadows,
